Asena (Onur Çakmak) — Biography

Asena was born in İstanbul in 1977.

After completing her education in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management at Marmara University, she continued her studies in the Department of Hotel Management at İstanbul Bilgi University; she also finished a modelling and elegance school.

Her introduction to the stage came in 1995 thanks to Mustafa Topaloğlu; she found the opportunity to make a name for herself worldwide with the dance shows she performed for former US President Bill Clinton, the world-renowned model Paris Hilton, and the guests at a reception held at the palace of Queen Elizabeth II of England.

Asena, who took part in competitions such as Benimle Dans Edermisin, Buzda Dans, Benzemez Kimse Sana and Ben Burdan Atlarım, appears in the programme Boxun Yıldızları, broadcast on Tv8, hosted by Adem Kılıçcı, Dilara Gönder and Bilgehan Demir, whose contestant line-up includes Bülent Çetinaslan, Fulya Keskin, Şenol İpek, Aycan Demirci, Ateş Fatih Uçan, Çılgın Sedat, Sahra Işık, Berna Canbeldek, Sami Levi, Asena, Baki Mercimek, Ayşıl Özaslan, Ramazan Kalyoncu and Doğuş.
