Murat Akkoyunlu was born in 1973 in Bursa.

He took part in various theatre companies and made children's programmes for TRT.

Murat Akkoyunlu, who had his first acting experience in 1989 with the series Bizimkiler, has also appeared in many series such as Aile İşi, İşler Güçler, Ruhumun Aynası, Sudan Sebepler, Servet Avcısı, Haneler and Adanalı.
