• Film and series pages with the cast, the director and the production details, linked to each person's page.
• Director pages listing the productions a director has made.
• Fun facts — light rankings and lists compiled from the same data, such as who is tallest or who has the most productions.

In Your Language

The site is published in 17 languages, so a reader can look up a biography in the language they are most comfortable with. Translations are made by us from the same underlying records, using AI-assisted translation tools, and are checked automatically for missing or garbled text.

How We Make Our Pages

Rather than republishing a single source, we gather what several sources say about each person and title — reference works such as Wikipedia and Wikidata, public interviews and press coverage — compare them, and settle the points where they disagree, such as birth dates, credits and the years a series ran. Each page is then written in our own words; facts such as dates and places come largely from Wikidata. We use AI-assisted writing and translation tools in this work, and pages are run through automated consistency checks against our records before they are published.

We review photographs and cover images: we check that each one shows the right person or production, and replace or remove any that turn out to be wrong. Images are used editorially, to identify the person or the production the page is about.

A page that does not yet hold enough information to be useful is not published until it has been improved. The rankings in our fun facts are calculated from our own records.

Some film, series and people pages carry short editorial takes written from different viewers' points of view. They are prepared by our editors with AI assistance, labelled as such on the page, and kept apart from reader reviews; they give no ratings. On people pages they look only at the person's screen work, never at their private life.

Accuracy and Corrections

Biographical information changes and public sources are not always right. If you spot an error — especially on your own page or on a page about someone you represent — please tell us through the contact form. We check what we receive and correct or remove the page. Our Disclaimer explains the limits of what we publish.
