Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Dizi Planet ("we", "us", the "site") collects when you use diziplanet.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. Dizi Planet operates diziplanet.com and is responsible for the processing described below. If you have any question about this policy, please use our contact form or write to us at info@zandktechnology.com.
What Data We Collect
- Anonymous usage statistics: pages viewed, referring page, browser and device type, approximate visit duration.
- Your language preference, stored in a cookie so the site opens in the language you chose.
- Your IP address and the coarse geographic region (country level) derived from it.
- If you submit a comment or the contact form: the name, e-mail address and message you type in.
- If you create an account: your e-mail address, display name, a hashed password and the reviews you publish.
- If you react to a page: your reaction, linked to a random identifier in the bio_voter cookie, or to your account if you are logged in.
Accounts are optional; you can read everything without one. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
How We Use Data
- To display the biography pages and remember your language.
- To measure how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
- To show advertising, which is what pays for the site.
- To answer messages you send us.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Advertising and Google
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You may also opt out of the use of cookies by third-party vendors at www.aboutads.info/choices.
- Google explains how it handles data from sites that use its services here: How Google uses information from sites that use our services.
Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through our consent management platform (FlexyConsent) before any non-essential cookie — advertising or analytics — is set. Only cookies strictly necessary to serve the page work without your consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie banner or its settings link, and the change takes effect immediately.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is configured for aggregate statistics; we do not use it to identify individual visitors. Where consent is required, Analytics only runs after you have given it.
Retention
Aggregate statistics are kept for as long as they are useful for measuring the site. Cookies expire on the schedule described in our Cookie Policy. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Vendors such as Google keep the data they collect under their own policies and retention periods.
We keep comments, reviews, reactions and account details until they are removed. To stop abuse, such as repeated posting, we do not store your IP address with them: we store a code made from it with a secret key, which lets us see repeat activity from one address without storing the address itself. This is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data, and we erase the code after 30 days. Like most websites, our servers also record IP addresses in technical logs, which are deleted after about 14 days.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR and, in Türkiye, the KVKK, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, and you may object to or restrict its processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. To make a request, use our contact form; we will act on it as soon as we reasonably can. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us through the contact form and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page. Last updated: 2026-11-06.
