Abdulkadir Sünger — Biography
Abdulkadir Sünger was born on 24 May 2000 in Denizli. He is a Turkish goalkeeper, and his name also appears as "Abdülkadir Sünger".
He began in the youth setup of Sarayköy 1926 and moved to the Denizlispor academy in 2016. He signed his first professional contract in 2020 and made his debut for Denizlispor on 12 April 2021, in a 3-2 Süper Lig defeat to Alanyaspor.
He became widely known on 29 December 2021 against Galatasaray, when he made 18 saves, stopped a penalty and scored from one himself. Supporters carried him off on their shoulders and the performance drew wide national coverage, with reports recalling that he had stood out against Galatasaray the year before as well.
He left Denizlispor in May 2024, joined Şanlıurfaspor in July 2024 and played for the club until November 2025.
