Ahmet Devret

Ahmet Devret — Biography

Ahmet Devret (born 3 January 1989 in Konya) is a Turkish footballer who plays as a left back. He took his first steps in the sport with the youth team of Tümosanspor, and later came up through the youth ranks of Beşiktaş and Konyaspor. He signed a professional contract in 2006 and was added to Konyaspor's first-team squad, but did not get to appear in a single official match during the first half of the 2007-08 season. He was therefore sent out on loan, during that same season's mid-year transfer window, to third-tier club Konya Şekerspor to gain playing experience, making his first official appearance for that club on 3 February 2008 against Göztepe.

In the years that followed, Devret played for Manisaspor, and reports in 2015 said he had signed a two-year deal with İnegölspor. He also played for İskenderunspor and Ankara Demirspor during his career, before joining Karabük İdman Yurdu as a left back at the end of 2023.

In 2026 it was announced that he had extended his contract with Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor by a further three seasons. In his personal life, Devret married Tuğba Kahraman on 6 June 2014.
