Ali Güzeldal — Biography

Ali Güzeldal was born on 10 April 1986 in Samsun. He developed as an attacking midfielder and began his career in 2001-02 with the Third League side Bakırköyspor, making his first official appearance on 12 May 2002 against Pendikspor.

At the start of 2005-06 he moved to Trabzonspor but was sent on loan to Akçaabat Sebatspor. His form there led coach Vahid Halilhodžić to call him up at the mid-season break. He played his first match for Trabzonspor on 22 January 2006 and scored his first goal on 12 February 2006 against Malatyaspor. At the start of 2006-07 he was transferred to İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor.

He joined Boluspor at the start of 2012-13 and agreed a new deal with the club in 2013. At Boluspor he captained the side and played for many years as the club pursued Süper Lig promotion. After retiring as a player he moved into coaching and is in charge of the U14 squad at İstanbul Başakşehir.
