Ankaralı Yasemin was born in 1979 in Ankara.
Due to financial reasons, she had to leave her education in middle school and stepped into her musical life by singing at the wedding of a relative.
At the age of 17, she called the producer of Ankaralı Turgut to ask for help and released her first album, Bende İsterem.
