Aycan Yanaç — Biography

Aycan Yanaç is a German-born forward who plays for the Turkey women's national team and is also widely known for reality competitions such as Survivor and Exatlon.

Born in Nuremberg to immigrant parents, she started out at 1. FC Nürnberg. In July 2015 she moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth, who played in the Frauen-Regionalliga Süd, scoring three goals in 11 matches over two seasons, then returned to Nürnberg and played for 1. FC Nürnberg II. In August 2020 she came to Turkey and signed with Gaziantep-based ALG Spor, who were due to enter the first qualifying round of the 2020-21 UEFA Women's Champions League. She wore the shirt of Fatih Karagümrük in 2023-24.

She made her debut for the Turkey under-19s on 4 August 2015 in a UEFA Development Tournament match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, earned seven caps in that age group and played two matches of the 2016 European U-19 qualifying round. She debuted for the senior side on 7 April 2018, coming on in the 73rd minute of a friendly against Estonia. In 2020 she competed in the celebrities team of Survivor 2020 and was eliminated on day 109; when she entered Survivor All Star in 2022, her ALG Spor contract was ended by mutual consent, and she left that show of her own accord on 2 February 2022. From September 2024 to February 2025 she finished second in Exatlon Germany and then eighth in Survivor 2025.
