Aysun Kayacı — Biography

Aysun Kayacı is a Turkish former model turned actress, known for finishing third in the 1997 Elite Model Look contest and winning a "Best Model of the Year" award in 2004. She was born in Istanbul on 20 May 1979.

A 2007 soft-drink commercial she starred in became widely talked about and made her a household name nationally. She also appeared in television series such as Doktorlar and Zehirli Çiçek and in the films Kısık Ateşte 15 Dakika and Şeytanın Pabucu, and hosted and commented on political discussion programs.

In 2008, remarks she made on a television program questioning whether her vote should count the same as a shepherd's drew heavy criticism and led to a criminal complaint against her; in 2021 she said she regretted the comment.

She married in 2012 and had a daughter, and for years lived largely out of the public eye in London before being photographed with her family on holiday in Bodrum in the summer of 2025.
