Bayram Olgun — Biography

Bayram Olgun was born in Van in April 1990 and is a Turkish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. His brother, Süleyman Olgun, is also a professional footballer.

He started out in the Antalyaspor academy and then spent a year at Antalya Yolspor, where he caught the attention of MKE Ankaragücü and moved into their youth system. Two years later he was promoted to the professional squad. In May 2013 his contract expired and he extended it by two years, and by the 2014-15 season he had played 56 league matches for Ankaragücü. That season he transferred to Manisaspor, and he has also kept goal for Mamak FK.

At youth level he was called up to the Turkey under-19 side 12 times and played in three matches for it. He also featured for the under-21 national team and was named in the under-21 provisional squad in 2011. While at Tuzlaspor he drew attention in autumn 2019 for keeping a clean sheet in every match he had played that season. He signed for Çorum FK in the summer of 2022, and the club and the goalkeeper parted ways in July 2023.
