Bedirhan Çetin — Biography
Bedirhan Çetin is a Turkish footballer, born 29 June 2006 in Samsun, who plays as a centre-back. He began playing football at Yenidoğanspor in 2015, moved into the youth system of Samsun Gençlik ve Spor İl Kulübü in 2019, and was transferred to the Samsunspor academy the following year.
Before putting pen to a professional contract, he made his senior appearance in a Samsunspor fixture against Tuzlaspor on 20 May 2022, going on to sign his first professional deal in May 2023. He featured in the Samsunspor squad that took the 2022-23 TFF First League crown and rose into the Süper Lig. On the international stage, he turned out for Turkey's under-16 side in a friendly against North Macedonia on 24 August 2021, later advancing through the ranks to the under-20 team.
In September 2025 a cruciate ligament injury sidelined him for a lengthy spell, drawing considerable attention in the Turkish sports press, where he was repeatedly named among Samsunspor's injured players. Despite the setback, he stayed part of the club's squad into the 2025-26 season.
