Bekir İrtegün — Biography
Bekir İrtegün was born on April 20, 1984, in Elazığ and played as a centre-back for clubs including Gaziantepspor, Fenerbahçe and İstanbul Başakşehir, also earning caps for Turkey's under-21 and senior national teams. After retiring as a player, he moved into coaching.
He took charge of Hatayspor in January 2026, becoming the club's fourth head coach of the season, but his tenure was short-lived: after winning just 2 of 19 matches, he parted ways with the club in July 2026.
