Benhur Babaoğlu — Biography

Benhur Babaoğlu (b. March 29, 1970, Siirt) is a retired Turkish footballer.

He was born on March 29, 1970, in Siirt. He started his professional football career at Malatyaspor. He was transferred to Siirtspor. In the 1993-1994 season, under head coach Rainer Hollmann, he was transferred to Galatasaray. He played as a forward. Later, he continued his career with Antalyaspor, Eskişehirspor, Fenerbahçe, Y.Yozgatspor, Diyarbakırspor, Sakaryaspor, Uşakspor, and Beykoz. During the 2002-2003 season while playing for Beykozspor, he suffered a serious injury that forced him to end his football career. He played once for the U-21 national team against Denmark.
