Berkay Özcan — Biography

Born on 15 February 1998 in Karlsruhe, Germany, Berkay Özcan is a dual German-Turkish central midfielder. He came through the youth ranks of Karlsruher SC and VfB Stuttgart and represented Germany at junior level before opting to play for Turkey.

He joined İstanbul Başakşehir in 2020 and was subsequently loaned out to Çaykur Rizespor and later Fatih Karagümrük. In July 2026, several Turkish sports outlets reported that Beşiktaş had reached an agreement in principle to sign him from Başakşehir, with the transfer fee still under negotiation.
