Bobby Dixon — Biography

Bobby Dixon is an American-born point guard, born on April 10, 1983, in Chicago. After his education at Roger C. Sullivan High School and Troy University, he began his professional career in 2006 and went on to become one of the names most closely associated with Turkish basketball. He gained Turkish citizenship in 2015, adopting the name "Ali Muhammed," and represented the Turkish national team at EuroBasket 2015 under that name.

Dixon spent much of his playing career at Fenerbahçe before parting ways with the club as a player in August 2022. He has since remained part of the Fenerbahçe organization, taking on a role as an individual development coach and youth-academy ambassador, and has been credited by younger teammates with helping them adjust to European basketball.
