Can Parlayan — Biography
Can Parlayan was born on 19 January 1986 in Akçaabat, a district of Trabzon. A Turkish former footballer, he started out in the youth setup of Darıcaspor, then played in the youth ranks of Trabzon İdmanocağı and Trabzonspor. In 2006 he signed a professional contract and joined the senior squad; at Trabzonspor he played only for the A2 side and was loaned to 1461 Trabzon to gain experience. He is reported to have been the Third League's top scorer in 2006-07, with 24 goals.
He agreed terms with Konyaspor in June 2007 but struggled to break into the team, and so spent time on a series of loans. In February 2008 he went to Konya Şekerspor and returned to that club in July of the same year. He also played on loan for Elazığspor, Gebzespor, 1461 Trabzon and Akçaabat Sebatspor. In January 2009 his exclusion from the squad was reported in the local press. At the start of 2011-12 he came back to Konyaspor, who had just dropped from the Süper Lig to the First League.
As a youngster he was called up to the Turkey U-20 national team twice and played in both matches.
