Cenk Akyol — Biography
Cenk Akyol is a Turkish basketball player and coach, born on 16 April 1987 in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul. Standing 1.98 meters tall, he played as a shooting guard and small forward for clubs including Galatasaray, Beşiktaş and Sigortam.Net İTÜ, and also represented the Turkish national team during his playing days.
Akyol retired from playing in 2020 and moved into coaching. Married to volleyball player Naz Aydemir Akyol, he joined Beşiktaş İntegral Forex's coaching staff in May 2026 after signing a 2+1 year contract with the club.
