Cihan Topaloğlu — Biography

Cihan Topaloğlu was born on 30 March 1992 in İzmir. A goalkeeper, he began at Bozdoğan Belediyespor and also played youth football at Balçovaspor and Altınordu. He signed his first professional contract with Altınordu in 2009 and made his senior debut on 25 April 2010 in a 2-0 TFF Third League win over Muğlaspor.

From 2012 he was loaned to Bucaspor 1928, Manisa FK and Silivrispor. He transferred to Çaykur Rizespor in 2017 and was in the squad that won the 2017-18 TFF First League. In 2019 he joined Altay and was part of the side promoted to the Süper Lig in 2021; his contract was extended in May 2021. His first official match for Altay came on 30 December 2021, a 1-0 Turkish Cup loss to Beşiktaş.

Sakaryaspor announced his signing on 27 May 2022. Described in the Turkish press as the club's star goalkeeper, he extended his contract in June 2023 and at the end of June 2024 posted a farewell message to the fans. In July 2024 several outlets reported that he had agreed to join Ümraniyespor.
