Ebru Gündeş — Biography
Ebru Gündeş is a Turkish pop-folk and arabesque singer, actress and television personality, born in Istanbul on 12 October 1974. She launched her music career in the early 1990s, releasing her debut album in 1992, and went on to become one of the most popular and recognizable voices in Turkey. Alongside her recording and concert career, she appeared as an actress in television series such as Tanrı Misafiri, Fırtınalar and Deli Divane, and worked as a presenter on entertainment programs. Her marriage to businessman Reza Zarrab (Rıza Sarraf) also kept her in the headlines of the Turkish tabloid press for years.
