Emre Gedikli — Biography
Emrehan "Emre" Gedikli is a forward born on 25 April 2003 in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, who stands 1.87 m tall and holds both German and Turkish nationality. He spent ten years coming through Bayer 04 Leverkusen's youth ranks before his professional bow on 26 November 2020, when he was sent on as a substitute for Karim Bellarabi in the 80th minute of a UEFA Europa League tie at home to Israel's Hapoel Be'er Sheva, a match Leverkusen won 4-1.
Having represented Germany at every youth level from under-15 to under-19, Gedikli accepted a call-up from Turkey's under-21 side in 2022 and committed his international future to Turkey. He signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Trabzonspor on 7 February 2022 and won the 2021-22 Süper Lig title and the 2022 Turkish Super Cup with the club. He moved on loan to Austrian side Austria Lustenau for the rest of that season, then left Trabzonspor and signed a three-year deal with Konyaspor in September 2023.
He transferred from Konyaspor to Bursaspor in June 2025, and after leaving Bursaspor around the turn of the year, he moved to Belgian Challenger Pro League club RFC Liège in February 2026.
