Engin Korukır — Biography
Engin Korukır (born 19 January 1958 in Gölcük, Kocaeli) is a Turkish football manager and former player. From the mid-1990s he worked in Turkey's professional leagues, first as an assistant coach and later as a head coach, moving between clubs for much of his career.
In November 2010 he took charge of Diyarbakırspor after Suat Kaya's departure, but his contract was terminated two months later. In January 2011 he was appointed head coach of Kartalspor following Ergün Penbe's exit. He managed Bozüyükspor at the start of 2012, then signed a two-year contract with Çaykur Rizespor that June, resigning before the season's first half ended because of poor results. He took over Boluspor on 21 February 2014 and coached Antalyaspor in the 2014-15 season. In January 2016 he reached an agreement with Samsunspor, in 2018 he was head coach of Sakaryaspor, and in October 2019 he parted ways with Kocaelispor.
He was brought in as Antalyaspor's new head coach in July 2020 but resigned shortly afterward. He then coached Serik Belediyespor until January 2021. His most recent spell in Antalya football ended in December 2023.
