Eren Albayrak — Biography
Eren Albayrak is a Turkish footballer, born 23 April 1991 in Istanbul, who stands 1.75 m tall and plays as a left back. He came through the Bursaspor academy, turned professional in 2006, and made his Süper Lig debut on 23 September 2008 against Fenerbahçe, coming on in the 80th minute; he was part of the club's title-winning squad in the 2009-10 season. Brought into the first team alongside Muhammet Demir under coach Ertuğrul Sağlam, he was left out of the squad for the rest of that season after not renewing his contract, and although he was widely expected to join Galatasaray, he transferred to Trabzonspor at season's end instead.
He was loaned to Orduspor in the middle of the 2011-12 season and to 1461 Trabzon at the start of 2012-13, before transferring outright to Çaykur Rizespor midway through that season. He later also played for İstanbul Başakşehir and Trabzonspor. In 2018 he moved to Japan, and in the following years played both for Júbilo Iwata in Japan and for Antalyaspor in Turkey. He left Antalyaspor in early 2022 to rejoin Çaykur Rizespor, and in January 2023 transferred to Bodrumspor. He represented Turkey across youth levels from under-15 to under-21, earning 94 call-ups and 80 caps, scoring 22 goals.
