Ergün Teber — Biography
Ergün Teber (born 9 September 1985 in Adana) is a Turkish former footballer, 1.81 m tall, who played as a left back. He began playing football with Yenibeygücü's youth team in September 1999, turned professional with Kayseri Erciyesspor that December, and spent six years at the club. He parted ways with Erciyesspor midway through the 2004-05 season and signed with Kayserispor, was loaned to Sakaryaspor the following season, and then left Kayserispor at season's end to rejoin Erciyesspor briefly.
He moved to Çaykur Rizespor at the start of the 2007-08 season, then split the 2008-09 season between Gençlerbirliği in the first half and Kocaelispor in the second. He joined Kasımpaşa at the start of 2009-10 and Samsunspor at the start of 2011-12; after mutually terminating his Samsunspor contract in December 2011 he rejoined Gençlerbirliği that same season and made 12 appearances there. He transferred to Antalyaspor at the end of the season, to Torku Konyaspor a year later, and to Eskişehirspor in 2014.
Teber returned to Antalyaspor in 2017 and played for Kardemir Karabükspor in the later part of his career. Capped a total of 58 times for Turkey's under-15, under-18, under-19, under-20 and under-21 national teams, he reached the final of the 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, one of the high points of that record. After retiring as a player he went to work within Kayserispor.
