Erhan Altın — Biography

Erhan Altın was born on August 28, 1956, in Samsun. A midfielder who came up through Fenerbahçe's youth system, he began his professional career at Taçspor before playing for Fenerbahçe (1976-1979), Göztepe (1979-1982) and Kocaelispor (1982-1990), retiring in 1990. He was called up to the Turkish national team three times, earning a single cap in a 1981 match against the USSR.

After moving into coaching, Altın built a long career across Turkey's lower and middle divisions, taking charge at various points of Eskişehirspor, Çanspor, Diyarbakırspor, Elazığspor, Akçaabat Sebatspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Denizlispor, Bursaspor, Giresunspor and his hometown club Samsunspor. He took over Kocaelispor in the second half of the 2008-09 Süper Lig season, signed with Şanlıurfaspor in 2016, joined Elazığspor in 2019, returned to Kocaelispor in 2020, and parted ways with Fethiyespor in 2023. He most recently managed Çankaya.
