Erol Bulut — Biography
Born on 30 January 1975 in Bad Schwalbach, Germany, Erol Bulut played as a left-back throughout his football career. A product of the Eintracht Frankfurt youth system, he transferred to Fenerbahçe in 1995 and won the Turkish league title with the club in the 1995-96 season. He later played for Trabzonspor, Adanaspor, Bursaspor and 1860 München, before moving to Greece, where he won back-to-back league titles with Olympiacos in 2006 and 2007 after a spell at Panionios.
Bulut began his coaching career as an assistant at Kartalspor, then held assistant roles at Yeni Malatyaspor, Elazığspor and İstanbul Başakşehir before taking his first head-coaching job at Yeni Malatyaspor in 2017. A strong run at Alanyaspor led to his appointment as Fenerbahçe manager in July 2020, a post he left in March 2021. He subsequently managed Gaziantep FK (2021-2023) and Cardiff City in England's Championship (2023-2024), before taking charge of Antalyaspor, a role he lost in December 2025 following a defeat to Galatasaray.
