Erol Togay (1 February 1950 – 9 August 2012) was a Turkish footballer and manager. A defender renowned for his heading ability, he was nicknamed "Kafacı Erol" during his playing days. He began his career at Vefa (1968-1972), moved on to Altay (1972-1978) and transferred to Fenerbahçe in 1978, where he played in central defence, before spending his last two seasons (1981-1984) at Adana Demirspor and retiring. He was called up to the national side 20 times in all, once for the Turkey under-21 team and 19 times for the senior side, including five appearances in the qualifying campaign for the 1978 FIFA World Cup.
He began his coaching career at Fenerbahçe in 1991, taking over from Guus Hiddink; sources differ on whether he managed the team for two or three matches. He went on to manage Çanakkale Dardanelspor, Zeytinburnuspor, Küçükçekmecespor, Zonguldakspor, Düzcespor and Konyaspor. Togay had lived with multiple sclerosis since 1999 and died in Istanbul on 9 August 2012.
