Ersin Destanoğlu — Biography
Born in 2001 in the Gaziosmanpaşa district of Istanbul, Ersin Destanoğlu is a goalkeeper who built his entire career at Beşiktaş, coming through the youth ranks before establishing himself in the first team. Standing 1.95 m tall, he drew attention early for his composure and shot-stopping between the posts.
Destanoğlu represented Turkey at U17, U18, U19 and U21 level before going on to feature for the senior national team. In July 2026, after thirteen years at Beşiktaş, he parted ways with the club and signed a three-year deal with UAE Pro League side Al-Jazira, continuing his career in the Gulf.
