Eyüp Arın — Biography
Eyüp Arın was born on 19 June 1962 in Adana; during the 1980s and 1990s he played as a footballer for Tarsus İdman Yurdu, Niğdespor and Batman Belediyespor.
After his playing days ended, he took up coaching at Adanaspor's youth academy in 1996, a post he held on and off for fifteen years. He repeatedly stepped in as caretaker whenever the club's head coaches left: in the 2008-09 season he ran the team for four weeks after Hüsnü Özkara's departure before handing over to incoming coach Metin Yıldız; in February 2011, following a defeat to TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor that prompted Osman Özdemir's exit, he took charge for the rest of the season and then passed the role to Levent Eriş; he took over once more during the 2016-17 season. In 2007-08 he had guided Adanaspor to the 2. Lig title.
That long association with the club saw him placed in charge for the 13th time in July 2023. He went on to serve as Adanaspor's youth-academy coordinator, announcing his departure from that role in June 2025; the club chairman did not endorse the move, but it went ahead anyway.
