Fatih Öztürk — Biography
Fatih Öztürk was born on December 22, 1986, in Phalsbourg, France, and holds both French and Turkish citizenship. The 1.91-meter-tall goalkeeper began his career with Sarre-Union in France, joined the amateur squad of Yurtkur in 2007, and turned professional with Eyüpspor in 2008. A loan spell at Gölcükspor in 2010 drew attention with strong performances.
He moved to 1461 Trabzon for the 2011-12 season and won a league title with the club, then transferred to Trabzonspor, making his first official appearance for them on the final matchday of the season against relegated Antalyaspor. In 2015 he joined Akhisar Belediyespor, with whom he won the 2017-18 Turkish Cup and the 2018 Turkish Super Cup. He signed a two-year contract with Kasımpaşa in 2019, then terminated it in the summer of 2020 to sign a two-year deal with Galatasaray worth 4 million Turkish lira annually. His contract with Galatasaray ended on July 1, 2022, when he left the club, and he has not played professionally since.
