Fatih Şen — Biography

Fatih Şen was born on 9 January 1984 in the Beykoz district of Istanbul and is a former Turkish professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He started out in the youth ranks of Istanbul amateur club Paşabahçe SK and later played for Yozgatspor's youth team. In 2003 he signed his first professional contract with third-tier side GASKİ, making his official debut that year against Nusaybin Demirspor.

On loan at Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor in 2004-05, he performed well enough to help the club win the second-tier title and gain promotion to the top flight, after which he was signed permanently. He moved to Gaziantepspor in 2006-07 to play in the Süper Lig but failed to live up to expectations, and was loaned out to Kartalspor and then back to Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor. He subsequently played for Orduspor, Giresunspor, Karşıyaka, Samsunspor, Boluspor, Adanaspor, Adana Demirspor, Pendikspor and Diyarbekirspor, before parting ways with Boluspor in 2020.

After retiring as a player he moved into coaching, serving as an assistant coach at Bursaspor in 2022 and taking charge of Afyonspor as head coach in 2024.
