Fevzi Elmas — Biography
Fevzi Elmas was born on 9 June 1983 in Çanakkale and began his career in the youth ranks of his hometown club, Çanakkale Dardanelspor. After six seasons there as a goalkeeper he moved to Sakaryaspor, then transferred to Galatasaray under manager Gheorghe Hagi, making one Süper Lig appearance in the 2004-05 season. The 1.82 m keeper joined Antalyaspor in 2007 and spent two seasons there.
He signed for Orduspor in the 2009-10 season and kept goal there for four seasons before moving to Şanlıurfaspor in 2013, where two successful seasons were followed by a difficult 2015-16 campaign that ended his time at the club. He then joined Adana Demirspor, before transferring to Adanaspor in 2017 and Manisaspor in 2018. Some sources say his career ended at Giresunspor after the 2017-18 season, in which he appeared only in the Turkish Cup, while 2025 press reports place him in the Giresunspor squad again.
Elmas represented Turkey at every youth level up to under-21.
