Gökberk Demirci — Biography

Gökberk Demirci was born on 20 October 1989 in İzmit; his family originally comes from Adana. He trained as an actor at Cengiz Küçükayvaz Tiyatrosu and Aktörist, spent years practising mixed ring sports, gained skills in horseback riding and swordsmanship, and briefly modelled for the Italian photographer Edoardo Delille.

He made his screen debut in 2012 with a small role in Bir Zamanlar Osmanlı: Kıyam, and went on to appear in series such as Arka Sokaklar, Hayatımın Aşkı, Yıldızlar da Kayar and Malazgirt 1071. He had his breakthrough in 2019 playing the character Emir in the series Yemin. He later played Kartal Köksal in Üç Kız Kardeş, and joined the cast of Rüya Gibi at the end of 2025.

In his personal life, he dated actress Özge Yağız, whom he met on the set of Yemin, from 2019; he proposed in 2021, but the relationship ended in 2022. In 2024 he announced that he had lost first his sibling and then, shortly after, his mother.
