Gökhan Ünal — Biography
Born on 23 July 1982 in Ankara, Gökhan Ünal is a former Turkish forward turned football manager. Rising through Turkey's youth national teams to the senior side, he spent nearly two decades as a professional, turning out for around thirteen clubs including Gençlerbirliği, Kayserispor, Trabzonspor, Fenerbahçe and İstanbul Başakşehir.
The peak of his playing career came at Kayserispor, where he finished as the Süper Lig's top scorer in the 2005–06 season, a feat that secured his place in the club's history. After retiring as a player, Ünal moved into coaching and currently manages Kayseri-based side Erciyes 38 FK.
