Güven Hokna — Biography
Born Ruhudil Güven Hokna on January 24, 1946, in Ankara, the actress graduated from the Ankara State Conservatory at Hacettepe University in 1967. She made her stage debut in Reşat Nuri Güntekin's play "Balıkesir Muhallebicisi" and went on to spend 35 years as a company member of the State Theaters.
In 1990 she hosted the children's program "Susam Sokağı," and soon after crossed into television drama as Suzi in "Ferhunde Hanımlar." Wider recognition came with her role as Neriman in "İkinci Bahar." Her cinema debut arrived with Yavuz Turgul's landmark film "Eşkıya" (1996), in which she played Sevim.
Hokna later appeared in the hit series "Kurtlar Vadisi" (Valley of the Wolves), and gave one of her most memorable performances as Hayriye Tekin in the Kanal D drama "Yaprak Dökümü," which aired from 2006 to 2010.
