Güven Yalçın — Biography
Güven Yalçın is a German-Turkish forward born on 18 January 1999 in Düsseldorf, standing 1.84 m tall. He began playing at VfL Benrath before joining the Bayer 04 Leverkusen academy, where he won a German youth title in 2016 and featured in that season's UEFA Youth League.
He signed with Beşiktaş on 27 July 2018 and went on to make league and European appearances for the club. Midway through the 2020-21 season he was loaned to Italian side Lecce before returning to Beşiktaş, and in July 2022 he agreed a three-year deal with Genoa in Italy.
Internationally he came up through Turkey's youth ranks, briefly turned out for Germany's under-18 side, then chose to continue representing Turkey and eventually earned senior caps, lifting the Turkish Super Cup with Beşiktaş in 2021. He later returned to Turkey to play as a forward for Alanyaspor.
