Hande Mehan — Biography

Hande Mehan is a Turkish singer, lyricist and composer born on December 22, 1995, in Diyarbakır. She entered the music industry after meeting singer Cem Adrian during her university years and becoming his producer, then launched her own career on May 17, 2018, releasing "Sen Beni Güzel Hatırla," a song she wrote and composed herself, on YouTube; it went on to surpass 10 million views.

That same year, a cover of İlhan Şeşen's "Sen Benim Şarkılarımsın" recorded with Cem Adrian passed 16 million views, and Mehan began appearing as a guest performer at his concerts. She played the Trakya Music Festival and recorded the duet "Ah Bu Şarkıların Gözü Kör Olsun" with Cem Adrian for the soundtrack of the film "Bizim İçin Şampiyon." In 2019 she released the single "Mesafeler" with Hakan Tunçbilek and contributed "Pencerelerde" to "2020 Model," a tribute album to writer Murathan Mungan.

In subsequent years she recorded duets with Mehmet Güreli, Taladro and Teoman, and released a new duet with Çağan Şengül in 2026; she also put out the EP "Acoustic Sessions I" in 2024 and her debut album, "Yirmisekiz," in 2025. She continues to perform regularly in cities such as Tokat and Ankara, and often draws attention for her covers of classic Turkish pop songs.
