Hüsnü Özkara — Biography

Hüsnü Özkara (born 25 January 1955 in Trabzon) is a retired Turkish football defender and later manager. He spent most of his playing career at Trabzonspor.

He was part of the legendary Trabzonspor side that became the first Anatolian club to win the Turkish championship and went on to dominate Turkish football. Regarded by fans and the club as one of the most important players in Trabzonspor's history, he is also a significant figure at MKE Ankaragücü, where he played for nearly eight years. He also earned caps for the Turkish national team.

After retiring as a player, Özkara moved into management and coached clubs including Elazığspor, Konyaspor, 1461 Trabzon and Fethiyespor.
