He was picked for the Beşiktaş academy in 2002, made his first-team appearance in late 2004-05, and after a loan spell at Kocaelispor scored twice in a 5-1 win over Manisaspor in 2007-08. In the summer of 2008 he transferred to Getafe, making his La Liga debut against Athletic Bilbao on 29 September 2008; he spent the 2009-10 season on loan back at Beşiktaş before returning to Getafe.
He joined Bursaspor in 2011 and scored against FC Gomel in the UEFA Europa League; after a play-off defeat to Anderlecht in August 2011 he was indefinitely frozen out of the squad along with Volkan Şen and Sercan Yıldırım over disciplinary issues and loaned out to Mersin İdmanyurdu. Kaş represented Turkey at under-18, under-19 and under-21 level, made his senior debut against Norway on 17 November 2007 before leaving the match with an injury, and was one of three players cut by Fatih Terim from Turkey's squad for the 2008 European Championship finals after initially being included. He won the Turkish Cup with Beşiktaş in 2006-07. In January 2026 he was arrested over an alleged assault on a young player's father at a football match and released shortly afterwards.
