İdris Nebi Taşkan — Biography

İdris Nebi Taşkan is a young actor who moved from professional basketball into acting. He reached a wide audience as Yasin in Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları, and more recently played Lieutenant Aras Güneri in Al Sancak.

Born in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district, he first appeared on camera in 2014 in Muhteşem Yüzyıl, took a small part in Poyraz Karayel, and in 2016 got his first lead as Eren in Show TV's Arkadaşlar İyidir. In 2017-2018 he was in the cast of Star TV's Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları, which also included Nazan Kesal and Deniz Baysal. In 2019 he acted in the film Özgür Dünya and played Civan Yılmaz in Zalim İstanbul.

He then played Rüzgar Akcan in the romantic comedy Baht Oyunu in 2021 and Tufan in Gizli Saklı in 2022, and returned to screens with Al Sancak in 2023. He also appeared in the 2024 film Ayrılık A. Ş.
