İsmail Küçükkaya — Biography

İsmail Küçükkaya was born in 1972 in Kütahya. He completed his education in the Journalism Department of Gazi University. He began his career in 1991 working as a reporter at the Hürriyet newspaper. After also working at the Star and Sabah newspapers, he began writing a column at the Akşam newspaper; in 2003 he took on the role of Ankara representative at SKYTÜRK TV. He served as the Ankara representative of the Akşam newspaper between 2005 and 2008, and afterwards became the Editor-in-Chief of the Akşam newspaper. Since 2013 he has been presenting the morning programme Çalar Saat on Fox Tv. The controversial joint broadcast of Ekrem İmamoğlu and Binali Yıldırım, moderated by İsmail Küçükkaya, will take place on 16 June 2019 at the Lütfü Kırdar Congress Center.
