Kemal Doğulu — Biography

Kemal Doğulu was born in 1979 in Mersin.

He is the brother of the actor Kadir Doğulu.

Having set his mind on becoming a hairdresser at a young age, Kemal Doğulu began working as an apprentice alongside his cousin at the age of 12.

He later settled in İstanbul and started doing hairstyling and make-up for fashion magazines.

When his make-up work was well received, he had photographs taken and they were first published in the fashion pages of Elle magazine.

He then began working as a style consultant for celebrities.

He dressed many celebrities such as Sıla, Kutsi, Demet Akalın, Hande Yener and Gökhan Özen, and directed music videos.

When the vocalist did not show up at Hande Yener's concert, Kemal Doğulu performed the vocals and later released a single.

He shares the jury seat with Nur Yerlitaş and İvana Sert on the show İşte Benim Stilim broadcast on Tv8.
