Kuanitra Holingsvorth — Biography
Born Quanitra Hollingsworth on November 15, 1988, in Chesapeake, Virginia, the 1.96 m center is known in Turkey as Kuanitra Holingsvorth. She began her professional career in the WNBA in 2009, becoming the youngest American ever to play in the league at the time, at 20 years and 203 days old, on June 6, 2009.
In 2012 she acquired Turkish citizenship, which made her eligible to play for the Turkey women's national team, and she represented Turkey at that year's Summer Olympics. Her national-team commitments meant she missed the 2012 and 2014 WNBA seasons.
Hollingsworth also played in the WNBA for the Seattle Storm and went on to play for several Turkish clubs, joining Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring in the summer of 2024.
