Levin Öztunalı — Biography
Levin Mete Öztunalı (b. 15 March 1996, Hamburg) is a German footballer of Turkish descent. He plays as an attacking midfielder. He currently plays for 2. Bundesliga side Hamburg.
After spending seven years in the academy of Hamburger SV, Öztunalı made his professional debut with Bayer Leverkusen in 2013. He made 15 league appearances for the club before joining Werder Bremen on a season-and-a-half loan two years later. After his loan spell ended in 2016, he joined Mainz. He played there for five seasons before transferring to Union Berlin in 2021. In 2023 he signed with Hamburg.
Öztunalı represented Germany at various youth levels and was part of the squads that won the 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He made 30 appearances and scored seven goals for the Germany under-21 national team.
