Mehmet Topuz — Biography
Mehmet Topuz was born on 7 September 1983 in the Şefaatli district of Yozgat and is a retired Turkish footballer. He spent most of his career as a right-sided midfielder, occasionally deployed at right-back.
He came through the ranks at Kayseri Erciyesspor before moving to Kayserispor, where his form earned him a transfer to Fenerbahçe. Between 2006 and 2011 he played for the Turkey national team.
Remembered for his effectiveness from free kicks, Topuz brought his professional playing career to a close in the mid-2010s.
