Muhammed Bayır — Biography
Muhammed Bayır is a Turkish footballer, born on 5 February 1989 in the Mamak district of Ankara, who plays in defence, mainly as a left-back. He came up through the Bugsaşspor youth academy and also made his professional debut with that club.
He moved to Osmanlıspor in 2013 and spent several seasons with the Ankara club, extending his contract there in 2017. He joined Gençlerbirliği in 2021 and was made team captain the following year. Later in his career, as he dropped into the lower divisions, he also represented Etimesgut Belediyespor, before a final spell with TFF Third League side Turkish Metal 1963 SK that ran until September 2025.
In his personal life, Bayır became a father on 24 June 2015, naming his son Adem.
