Muhammed Emin Sarıkaya — Biography

Muhammed Emin Sarıkaya was born on 3 January 2002 in the Oltu district of Erzurum and plays as a midfielder. He came up through the Bursaspor academy and signed his first professional contract with the club on 16 May 2018, aged 16. Two days later, on 18 May 2018, he made his Süper Lig debut in a 1-0 defeat to Gençlerbirliği. At 16 years, 4 months and 15 days, he became the fourth-youngest debutant in Süper Lig history and the first player born in 2002 to appear in the league.

On 2 September 2019 he signed a three-year contract with İstanbul Başakşehir. To gain experience he was loaned out, to Yeni Malatyaspor in 2021 and to Ankara Keçiörengücü in September 2022, and in the summer of 2023 he was loaned to Ümraniyespor. He has also played for 1461 Trabzon. In July 2026 he moved to Fatih Karagümrük.
