Murat Sağlam — Biography
Murat Sağlam is a Turkish footballer who was born on 10 April 1998 in Hameln, Germany, and grew up there. He began playing football in the youth academy of his hometown club ESV Eintracht Hameln, turned professional in 2017 by signing with Wolfsburg, and during this period represented Turkey at under-19 and under-21 level.
In the summer of 2019, Sağlam agreed to join Fenerbahçe, choosing the Süper Lig club over interest from Trabzonspor. He made his debut for the club in a Turkish Cup quarter-final against Kırklarelispor, and his first league appearance came in a 2-1 win over Göztepe on 4 July 2020. That same year he also played for Antalyaspor and, from October, Çaykur Rizespor.
He later returned to Germany, where he has played for SSG Halvestorf/Herkendorf in the Hannover regional league.
