Mustafa Ertan — Biography
Mustafa Ertan was born on 21 April 1926 in Ankara. Known for his sturdy defensive play and physical strength, he earned the nickname "Beton Mustafa" (Concrete Mustafa) within Turkish football circles. He spent much of his career with Beşiktaş and PTT Spor and was regarded as one of the foundational figures of football in Ankara.
A capped international, Ertan was part of the Turkish squad at the 1954 FIFA World Cup finals. After his playing career he also worked as a coach. He died at his home in Bursa on 17 December 2005.
