Nehir Erdoğan — Biography

Nehir Erdoğan was born on 16 June 1980 in İzmir. After finishing high school at Selma Yiğitalp Lisesi, she completed a business degree at Marmara University and went on to graduate studies in radio, television and cinema at the same institution. She started out on screen presenting culture and arts segments on TRT 1's Telepazar program between 2001 and 2003, before moving into acting through the series Koçum Benim and the film Hababam Sınıfı Merhaba.

She reached a wide audience through Yabancı Damat, which aired from 2004 to 2007 and is noted as the first Turkish series sold abroad to Greek television. In the years that followed she took roles in productions including Son, Reaksiyon, Fi, Benim Adım Melek and Sana Söz, and also hosted a film program on NTV as well as a talent competition on Show TV. She has continued acting in newer productions since.
